'A Passion for Stitch'

Within the madness of a busy couple of weeks we forgot to mention that we are taking part in the textiles exhibition, 'A Passion for Stitch' at Blue Ginger Gallery, which runs until mid-July.
It's a diverse exhibition featuring stitch & textiles in it's broadest sense; from the jewel bright metallics of artist Jo Dewar, the richly machined botanical forms of Angie Hughes, sumptous velvet & leather bags by Phillipa Day & the intricately detailed batiks of Marie-Therese King, to name but a few. Something to appeal to all visual magpies!

The details shown here are from two small framed pieces, 'Frayed' & 'Knot & Fray', which are available to buy alongside a selection of our brooches and Rocca Owls.

The Gallery is open all weekend, why not take a look for yourself?

Thank you O! These pieces are quite small, approx 15cm squared in their frames and are stitched onto old linens.
