Festive Fun in Miniature

Thought we'd share a few pictures taken at Cafe Salvation last Friday during the 'Pixie Garland' workshop. During this task it seemed fitting that all present drank hot chocolate with cream & mini marshmallows on top.
See what you miss out on when you don't join in the handstitch fun!

There are just three weeks of workshops left before we pack up our travelling workshop suitcase until 2013.  Remaining dates & topics are as follows:

Friday 16th November 'Peg Doll Angel'
Using vintage linens, fabric scraps and a traditional wooden peg we will make a celebration angel who would be happy to sit on top of the Christmas tree or join you at the dining table.

Friday 23rd November 'Stitch Doodle Festive Felt' Week 1
Although originally billed as 'Decorative Hanging Birds', you are also welcome to use this session to work on a felt based project of your choice, with a festive flavour, from the following list; a folk heart or bird decoration - perfect to hang from the tree, a Robin brooch, a Christmas rose brooch, a small felt animal. Make your choice on the day!

Friday  30th November 'Stitch Doodle Festive Felt' Week 2
Another opportunity to work on a felt based project of your choice, with a festive flavour, from the list given above in week 1.

We have mini pegs left...
Wow! Just love those teey hats and stockings. And that Hedgehog! (Want!) I must get my act together and attend one of your wonderful workshops next year.

Hi Minerva! The hedgehog is a workshop regular. He makes an excellent job of holding the pins. Hope to announce more workshop dates soon. Would be lovely to welcome you to one of them!
